I'd hoped we'd be able to get through this election cycle without any such foolishness. I was wrong.
A funny thing happened this morning. (Not funny "ha ha," but funny as in "really!??!") I'm settling in for a work call at 11 a.m. when my phone blows up. Had I seen this? Did I know about it?
The crazy part is it was done in broad daylight, not too long after rush hour.
No, I'm not discouraged. Yes, we filed a police report.
I was hoping we'd be able to avoid this sort of thing. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
On the other hand, I'm reminded of why I'm running for City Council. We deserve better than this.
